About Bike New England

Gordon Harris, owner of Bike New EnglandCelebrating our tenth year of providing beautiful affordable bicycle tours.  After joining the 2000 Big Ride Across America for the American Lung Association, I was hooked on Bicycle touring. After riding across the entire country, my favorite cycling was still right at home in the Berkshire Mountains of western Massachusetts. So I started Berkshire Cycle Touring to share these beautiful rides. In 2004 I moved to charming Ipswich, Massachusetts on the north shore of Massachusetts, another great cycling area in a state that will surprise you with it's many wonderful rides. The company expanded and adopted the name Bike New England to reflect our expansion to this area as well as southern New Hampshire and Vermont.

Barbara Lampron, Bike New England guideWe're joined in our Berkshire cycling tours by Barbara Lampron, a cycling enthusiast who has that special touch with our guests that makes Bike New England tours so unique. On the North Shore, Diane Isenberg and Joy Brown help lead the Elderhostel tours. All our guides as well as our rides are local-- that's how we give you such wonderful affordable tours in these popular cycling destinations.

Joy Brown, Bike New England guideWe've explored many other fascinating areas of the Northeast, including Lake Champlain, the Adirondacks, the Monadnock area of New Hampshire,Vermont's Northeast Kingdom, Quebec's Eastern Townships, and Nova Scotia's Cabot Trail. It is our pleasure to share descriptions and directions from these adventures with you at bikenewengland.com
