About Bike New England
Celebrating
our tenth year of providing beautiful affordable bicycle tours. After
joining the 2000 Big Ride Across America for the American Lung Association,
I was hooked on Bicycle touring. After riding across the entire country,
my favorite cycling was still right at home in the Berkshire Mountains
of western Massachusetts. So I started Berkshire Cycle Touring to share
these beautiful rides. In 2004 I moved to charming Ipswich, Massachusetts
on the north shore of Massachusetts, where I lead cycling tours for
Elderhostel. At the same time I expanded the web site name
to Bike New England to reflect our expansion to providing cycling resources
for this area, and now throughout the eastern United States and Canada.

Shore, and along the Erie Canal.
of On the North Shore, Diane Isenberg and Joy Brown help lead the Elderhostel tours. All our guides as well as our rides are local-- that's how we give you such wonderful affordable tours in these popular cycling destinations.
We've
explored many other fascinating areas of the Northeast, including Lake
Champlain, the Adirondacks, the Monadnock area of New Hampshire,Vermont's
Northeast Kingdom, Quebec's Eastern Townships, and Nova Scotia's Cabot
Trail. It is our pleasure to share descriptions and directions from
these adventures with you at
bikenewengland.com
By
keeping our tours local, we can offer them to you at very affordable
prices. Explore the links to the left, and check out the calendar page.
Remember that early in the season, it is often possible to reschedule
a tour to fit the needs of the first people signing on.
